SPORTS: Let girls basketball season begin!

Jasper's Mallory Wehr reached for the ball as she scrapped with Southridge's Kendyl Dearing, who forced the ball to a teammate after capitalizing on a loose ball to a steal Saturday at Memorial Gym in Huntingburg. Southridge beat Jasper 49-47.
