No. 21: 'Sand'stands

It's a good time to be a kid in Gulfport, Fla.
At least it is for the DiMario family. Seven-year-old Alonzo, center, dropped to the sand hands first in an attempt to perform the "perfect handstand." His cousins look on and then try to show him up. After more than a dozen attempts, the boys hit the water, each covered in sand. They laughed at each person's attempt, only to try to out-do one another. The boys were doing handstands, cartwheels and front flips for about 30 minutes. After that, they swam and splashed around in the water.

the last photograph is definitely the best. it's cleaner than the others, and the moment/emotion stands out more.... i also like the sand stuck to the side of the kid's face! ha!
