No. 5: Inspiration

A photo story that was captured by former St. Petersburg Times photographer Jamie Francis has played a larger role in my love for photography. It inspires me everyday. It is the essence of capturing a community. I made it a personal goal to find this mural on 22nd St. S. and make a self portrait (as you can see, I am the shadow where Madagascar would be). I've wanted to make this image since I came to St. Petersburg in May. Yes, I am a geek, but I'm OK with that. This is not the only post for Day 5, look for more to come this afternoon.
