No. 3: Barbers of Brooklyn

Steven Lara (in the gold shirt) is 28 years old. He grew up in Brooklyn. He moved to St. Petersburg about four years ago. That's when he met Manny Romero (in the white shirt), a 35-year-old Brooklyn native who also moved to Florida. Both have been cutting hair for years: Lara for 10 and Romero for 16. The duo decided to open up a barbershop one year ago.
It's name: Empire City Cutz, 2831 38th Ave. N. It's a place to get your haircut while listening to a range of hip hop, R&B and rap. The shop stays true to it's Brooklyn roots, with graffiti on the walls and what appears to be big city building replicas dividing the two sides of the shop. There are also portraits of Master P, Mary J. Blige and other artists who have made names for themselves in the last 20 years.
My personal favorite from these takes is the third photo.

I like the second one because it's got an interesting composition and great detail on the people, but the last one is my fav because you can see the environment they're in. I'd like to see you include an overall shot in these sets - like what the whole place looks like, and then come in on details.

Cool project, keep it up!
